Driving Directions
From Guayaquil International Airport Jose Joaquin de Olmendo:
Head Southwest on Avenida de las Americas, go straight on your right hand side toward Avenida Plaza Dañin bear right (About 5 minutes)
Then turn right on Avenida Plaza Dañin, keep on going straight to Calle 12NO, at this point you will hit Urdesa (about 5 min)
Bear left toward Calle 6ta, on the second traffic light turn left on Avenida Las Lomas go straight all the way down to Calle 9NO (Victor Emilio Strada/Principal) (about 3 min)
Make a right, keep on going all the way down to the end you will hit Avenida Carlos Julio Arrosemena Tola. (about 10 min)
Make a right, keep on going straight on the right hand side, slight right to Avenida Abdon Calderon Muñoz toward Avenida del Bombero. (about 1.5 min)
Bear left stay on Avenida del Bombero toward Via a la Costa/E40, keep on going straight all the way down on this Avenida to the toll portion (fare $.25), pass the toll booths you will be on E40, keep on going straight until KM 122 at this point you will be driving for about 1hr 45mins (before this point you will see see signs for Atahualpa) and you will see signs for San Pablo, Manglaralto, Montañita, Olón. (Ruta del Sol) make a right go straight toward E15 all the way down to Manglaralto. Will take you about 50 minutes from this point to get to the hotel. Turn left to take the first entrance to the town, this will be after the gas estation. Keep on going straight pass Manglaralto Hospital, then make the second left (Azuay) and then turn to the right (Ave. Constitución). Puerta Sol Inn will be on your right hand side diagonal to the Fire House.
